Sunpath Mongolia

Terms and
conditions.

The booking, payment and cancellation terms for tours operated by Sunpath Mongolia.

These terms apply to every tour we operate. Anything agreed differently for a private or tailored trip is confirmed in writing on your invoice, and that takes precedence over what is written here.

01

Booking

Send us the completed booking form and we will come back with an invoice confirming the trip, the dates and what is included.

The booking is held once the deposit reaches us. Until then the dates are not reserved.

02

Deposit

Group tours take a deposit of USD 200 per person at the time of reservation.

Private and tailored tours are quoted individually, and the deposit is agreed with you in writing before you pay anything.

03

Payment

The deposit confirms the booking. The balance is due before the tour begins.

We will tell you the payment methods and the due date on the invoice.

04

Cancellation

Cancel 30 days or more before the start date and 30% of the deposit is returned.

Cancel inside 30 days of the start date and the deposit is not returned.

05

Refunds once the tour has started

Once services have begun on arrival in Mongolia there is no refund for accommodation, meals, activities or transport you choose not to use, whatever the reason.

06

Our liability

We are responsible for the services we contract and for the subcontractors we appoint to deliver them.

We are not liable for airline incidents, lost luggage, or medical and customs matters outside our control. Our liability is limited to the total cost of the tour.

07

Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travelling with us and must be arranged before you leave home.

It should cover personal accident, medical expenses and repatriation, loss of belongings, and delay or disruption to the trip.

08

Complaints

If something is wrong, tell your guide or the supplier at the time — most things can be fixed on the spot.

Anything still unresolved at the end of the trip should come to us directly so management can deal with it.

Still unclear?

Questions about any of this

Ask before you pay a deposit, not after. We would rather explain a clause than argue about it later.
